I am delighted to say, that our recent production of Ruddigore was a complete success! All the hours of hard work that literally everyone put into rehearsals paid off tenfold, with some of the best audiences and reviews the society has ever had. As director for this wonderful company, I am thrilled to share some of them below.

· It should have been called 'Ruddimarvellous'!!!!!! Ruth, that is the best Stamford G&S production I've seen in many years - you should feel very proud of your production and all of your hugely talented team. Considering that that was an amateur production there were many areas where I forgot that we were not enjoying a professional production.

· The combination of your stage direction and Gavin's interpretation and delivery of the score was brilliant. You make a great duo of talent which combines to bring the best out of the cast!

· The group is such a mix of personalities and I have to admit to being in awe of your ability to keep them on track! The youngsters you have coming through are inspiring! Polite, motivated and professional. Above all though, talented!

· Just a quick note to say congratulations to Stamford G&S for an excellent performance of "Ruddigore" which I thoroughly enjoyed yesterday. At a time when G&S Societies are folding it is good to see Stamford going well and to such a high Standard. Congratulations to you all!
